Knowledge
Why is it so hard for some women to get the help they need in perimenopause? Time and time again we hear the frustrations of women who have struggled to get a diagnosis and support.
This seems to be due to a combination of a lack of knowledge (in the population in general and health professionals) and the huge variability of symptoms. We want to do our bit to help change this by working with women and sharing our knowledge with local health professionals. Do look at our social media posts for regular updates and education events.
Understanding
We understand exactly how difficult the menopause transition can be. The hormonal fluctuations of perimenopause start many years before periods finish and can cause a myriad of physical and emotional symptoms.
These can have a huge impact on you and those closest to you. Sadly we have all seen relationships, friendships and careers crumble under the strain – and we want to prevent this. We are here to listen and understand your individual needs to ensure you have the support you need.
Empowerment
This time of transition is a brilliant opportunity to take a step back and think about your overall health. You will spend up to 50% of your life in perimenopause and beyond, and small adjustments can help keep you happy and healthy.
We aim to work with you and empower you to take control of your health moving forwards. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and not know where to start, we are here to help guide you every step of the way.
